This is a somewhat young business. I have been knitting for about 8 years, as of 2010, and beading ever since I can remember. I have also recently been asked to teach a beginner knitting and pearling class at my local library. At first, my beaded and knitted works were, well… low quality. As the years went on, my low quality works became fine works of art. Now, I am able to make beautiful, 9 strand patriotic bracelets, Tahitian Snow Shoes, along with knitted or pearled hats, mittens, and my famous 6-foot scarves. You are welcome and all but begged to closely inspect my jewelry and yarn work in search of any mistake or imperfection, for I am certain you will not find any at all.
· 6-Foot Scarves. These are all hand knitted by myself with care. They are all measured to be at least 6 feet long. These come in a very wide variety of colors, and can be made shorter for small children and vertically impaired people such as myself. They can also be specially ordered in your choice of acrylic or 100% wool. These include your choice of fuzz, tassels, stripes, alpaca blend, or of course, none of the above. Dog and cat scarves can also be made.
· Tahitian Snow Shoes. These are based on jewelry that I saw on a vacation in far off place, that I altered slightly for maximum comfort and “wearability”. These look just like sandals on the top of your foot, but they also give you the ultimate comfort feel of bare feet. They fit just like a combination of an anklet and toe ring. It fits over the bottom of your foot so that it goes around your ankle very loosely so that it can nearly reach your “pointer toe”, where a small wax coated string goes around your toe so that it stays on securely. These are made with jewelry quality elastic which has no annoying clasp of any kind, so they are very easy to put on.
· Hats. These are the traditional knitted caps that fit over the top of your head. There are two different styles: one that you may fold up to your liking, and one that is meant to be worn without adjusting. You can put in a stripe, some fuzzy trim on the bottom, or keep it a single solid color.
· 9-Strand Patriotic Bracelets. These are made with tiny seed and bugle beads. These have three red, three white, and three blue strands of the glass beads. Colors may be changed, but my personal favorite is the standard patriotic. Your wrist measurement is required.
· Earrings. These come in a VERY wide variety of colors and styles. You have a choice between hooks and clips. (I myself need clip-on earrings.)
· Native- American Style Bands. These can be arranged in any style you can come up with. These are truly customizable. They are available in stretchy variations along with clasped. These come in a variety of colors and patterns that can be made to have stripes (vertical, horizontal or even diagonal), chevron pattern, zigzags, repeating shapes, flags, blocks, or your own, one of a kind style. They are truly you no matter who you are. These can be made to fit your wrist, neck, hat, boot, belt, or anything else you can think of.
NEW! Denim Blue Jeans Purse. We can take your old, ripped up blue (or any other color) jeans and turn them into gorgeous handbags. Extra pockets can be added on the inside upon request. If you prefer, a new pair of jeans, your brand of choice, may be purchased. Any non-embellished pair of jeans can be used!
